I'm afraid I'm jumping on the bandwagon here.

http://www.gender-news.com/other.php?id=271 Mohler's controversial gay-baby article.

I'm going to start this by talking about religion. I'll be the first to admit that I am not by any means a religious person. I do not go to Church but I do pray. I do not read the Bible to find God but I do believe in God or something like God. I believe that God is anything and everything. God is God, Allah, the Great Spirit, Ahura Mazda, The Goddess, Zeus, Inazami, Veshnu and so on and so forth. I'm calling God by their Christian name for simplicity's sake. God is love, hate, jealousy, compassion, merciful, merciless, justice, order, chaos, fear, contentment. God is yin and yang, man and woman, human and animal, brain and soul, ashes and dust. God is in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat and the lives we take, from our fellow man to the smallest germ. God are the pronouns he, she, it, we, I , you, they. (If some of those aren't pronouns, I apologize to all you grammar Nazi's. I haven't been to school in ages.) God is black, white, hispanic, asian, arabic. God is gay, transsexual, asexual,?and in my personal opinion, swings both ways. ^__^

I may go to hell for this but I don't know. And that brings me to the point of the religion part of this rant. None of us know who God really is or what God is really called or what God really believes or what God even looks like. So who are we to say what is right and wrong? We are the ones who are dominating this planet and so we have a set of rules of what is right or wrong. Every one has their own moral code, even if it doesn't have any morals at all. We don't know God so who are we to say what God really wants? All we have are our beliefs, our hopes and our dreams. In a sense, humans created God and in turn, God created all life. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Man or God? I believe that we all must believe in something greater than ourselves, even if that 'something greater' is to believe in nothing at all.

Am I confusing you yet? ^__^

Christians are taught that God is perfect, yet we are made in his image. So which is it? Are we perfect or are we imperfect? Is God perfect or imperfect?

The answer is that we are all perfect the way we are.

Which brings me to the good reverend Mohler. I respect his opinion.

No, that's a lie. I respect his right to express his opinion.

We are made to be hypocrits. That is human nature. Human nature, to me, is not a sin but neither a limitation. We were born to better ourselves.

But by that, I do not mean mess with unborn life. We are meant to grow spiritually and emotionally. The greatest tragedy is that we have so little time to find what we want before we start again anew.

But we should not mess with that which is unborn. God gave us a choice, so he created evil.

Still confused? ^__^ Don't worry. I'm afraid I'm not making sense to myself either.

God plans all, does he not, Christians? To plan and at the same time give a choice. Which is it?

I love religion. It always contridicts itself. ^__^

Homosexuality was thought to be a mental disorder until the 1970s. Now, it is thought to be a disease of the flesh to be easily cured. Homosexuality is a choice for some, but it is not for many others.

Example-me.

I've swung both ways before I even knew what it meant to swing.

I do not like the idea of "curing" homosexuality. You create a life and you play God. The game of playing God always has smited the player. And what if "curing" homosexuality falls into the hands of some one like Hitler? While we're at it, let's cure the mentally challenged, the Goths, the Punks, the Jewish, the Muslims? Let's cure the scholars, the Christians, the liberals, the republicians? Let's cure?this world of history and religion! Let us crush induvidiality and everything it stands for. Let us make a race of clones and anniliate all who do not choose to give up what makes them human.

I am not saying this is what Mohler wants but this is the worst case senario and, with human nature, quite possible.

In my opinion.

I do not speak truthful, proven facts. I'm only writing what I believe.

To do this, to "cure" homosexuality "for" God, would make us no longer human. We (the non-hetros) are human. We bleed, we laugh, we cry and we love. And we tend to have sex with those we love. Just like hetrosexuals.

Got it? So stop trying to save everyone from evil because homosexuality isn't evil. And don't pull that 'all homosexuals are pedophiles' shit on me. Remember there are hetrosexual pedophiles too.

Even if by some sick twist of fate, homosexuality is evil, then remember that God created evil.

Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money. " George Carlin.
