So yeah. Haven't posted in a month. I've been busy.

My dad had a light stroke so I've been taking care of hom for the past couple of weeks. He's doing a lot better now. The new brain damage he has is minimal. He's been really active. I'm so glad he is doing better. His stroke scared the shit out of me.

I have more than one test every week in college. Bleh. I've been studying. More bleh. DX College is awesome though. There is this one group of jocks guys that keep making fun of me but I pay them no mind. They are losers. I love Sociology. I think I'm going to do a double major in it and English.

Got a job at Wendy's. YEAH. Yesterday was my second day and I sucked the balls. :/ Am going in again today so I will do better. I LIKE EVERYONE I WORK WITH! They are the major awesome. We were really busy yesterday but most of the customers were nice. <3 <3 <3 It's some of the hardest work I've ever done though.

Whelp have to get ready for work so there is meh month in a nutshell. Will try to post more tomorrow when it's meh chillax day.

May I take your order,
Monk out.

Came back from vacation couple of weeks ago. Had a great time at the beach. Not so great time at the anime convention. The novelty of it wore of in a couple of hours for me. I don't know if I'm too much of a nerd or not big enough of one to like that sort of thing. Bought a couple of issues of Black Cat and a set of dishes made in Japan there. Met some coll people and took some cool pictures. Had a crap Kuwabara costume because Geo underestimated the amount of time it would take to put my hair up in a pompadour. Plus the shirt and the pants weren't the same shade of blue and my I <3 Smowgirl headband was written in English because writing on fabric with sharpie is hard enough. >_< Good time was had, but I just didn't go as much as Geo and Judith did. Will upload photos later. Am too lazy right now. Plus, College!

First two days of college were amazing. Most of my course work is online. Teachers are really nice. I have a lady crush on my Biology professor. She's super-spastic. My history professor is a lot like my dad. Not surprising considering they're friends. My sociology professor is awesome and so are my algebra and learning frameworks teachers. I just woke up from a nap so I'm a little Nnnnnngh right now. @_@

Am looking foward to this year
Monk Out.

Will go into more detail laters. But you know, since I haven't posted in a couple of weeks here ya go. Also, am 18 now! Whootness! My birthday was monday. Was also sick on said birthday. T__T But I'm all better now.

Went and paid for my tutition yesterday. Also found all but one of my classes. They're doing constuction so they've moved everything around. :/ 3 out of 5 of my classes are in the same building. Go me! ^__^ I'm going to have classes all the way through lunch so I'm going to have to get in the habit of eating a big breakfast. And I'm probably going to take crackers or something with me to class. Still don't know where I'm going to work but I hope I get a job at the college bookstore. I got an application and they said they couldn't hire me until I was 18 anyway so it all works out. I'm going to go get applications the week before classes start so I'll hopefully be working part-time early on in the semester. And that'll leave my nights off to be social or whatever. I'm not going to have school on the weekends so that works in my favor too. ^__^

Have been reading and writing and doing chores when I feel lazy. Have also been finding more excuses to drive. ^__^ I understand why people like it so much, although I manage to get flipped off almost every single time I drive. >__O I'm getting better at parking though. (I like to think.)

I'm really glad summer is almost over. (Well, half-way over.) I'm having to find things to do and I'm just not used to that.

Have been watching the video for Gravedigger by Dave Matthews constantly. I love that video. <3

Off to find something to do,
Monk Out.

I registered for college Monday. Walked over campus for 3 hours to do it too. Howard College is having some construction done so they moved everyone to different places. >__O Got my stuff for the CLEP test for Freshman Composition. Am confident I'll pass to get credit for both semesters. *knock on wood* Got my schedule and the cost of tutition. It's a little over $800. Good thing I have a Texas Tomorrow fund. @__@ I need to find the card they sent me though. It's in a safe place in my room but still. I can find the freakin' envelope it came in but not the card. I'm freaking out about it, because I need that card to pay tutition. Ugh. I'll guess I can get them to send me another one.

I'm also anxious to get a job. I need one. When I'm 18, the government won't give my parents money to help take care of me so then they won't have any to take away. I want to start saving desperately. Plus, I need something to do. I'm going through a book every two hours.

My schedule is going to get really busy when school starts. I'll have all morning classes through lunch and, hopefully, a job in the afternoons. I won't have school Friday-Sunday so that will be a relief. Night will be my main social time for a while. I'm currently signed up for five classes. Biology on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00
am(with lab at 1:00 pm Mondays), Introduction to Sociology at 9:30 am on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll have College Algebra at 8:00 am, United States HIstory at 9:30 am and Learning Frameworks at 11:00 am. (The last one is some lame 'Welcome to College!' class. I'll be done with it come October.)

...Unnngh. On the way to being a teacher....

I shouldn't even be stressing. But that damn card....Nnnngh....

It'll hopefully be better in August.

I just got done reading the last Sookie Stackhouse book.
