Saw my friend Eric again.  He's undergone a complete metamorphisis yet he is still the same Eric I've always known.

He wants to join the NAVY. 

NAVY is an acronym for 'Never Again Volenteer Yourself'.

I'm proud of him. It's more than I can say for my life plans. I hope to never have to fight. 

In just two months time, Eric went from a druggie who didn't give a fuck about his future to completely clean and wanting to fight for his country.  He wants to do something that, to me, is so meaningful. 

It really fucks being a creative writing professor in the ass with no lube, to quote Blue.

My brother makes windmills. He's building a cleaner future! I am proud but it is an apprehensive pride. Everytime I get my hopes up, he always lets me down. 

Now.... on to various rants.

Bitch Rant #1- 300 I thought the movie was ok but not something I'd want to see again. I liked the buff men though. Mmm. And the Guy With Eyepatch (David Beckingham or something rather) was so do-able. Xeres looked really gay though. Which brings me to....The Former Persian Empire!
Apparently, they're all pissed because it makes them look evil or something like that.
Ummm...you guys did want world domination and Darius, father of Xeres, got his ass handed to him by Alexander the Great, who liked ze men! Xeres and Darius before him believed themselves to be gods and sought to be kings of the world. Xeres killed three hundred Spartans yada yada yada. Although Xeres did look really, really gay. I mean, too gay for me. And I'm a hardcore yaoi fan and love drag queens. But Xeres was too much...

Bitch Rant #2- Dude, we're all fucking immigrants! So, stop trying to build your wall and just let the people in! America was built on a dream for a better life. The only ethinticity that has the right to say, "Stay the fuck out of my country" are the Native Americans! AUGH!

Ok. So #2 wasn't really a rant but you know...whatever.

I'm going to try to get a book of poetry published. I've been meaning to do it for a while but you know...things came up. Like me getting sick. All I need to do is print it out and write a query letter.
